THE AMAZING (G)RACE 2009

8 Teams.
Competitors from many nations.
Some heroic, others more humble.
Individuals & families alike,
all came together at Cornerstone North for one event:
"THE AMAZING (G)RACE".

They arrived at church very early & some chose to dress up in heroic outfits, while others did not. Their 1st destination: Meadowbank Wharf bound for Circular Quay.

One competitor almost joined the showboat.

The teams were fiercely competitive and the pace was fast from the start. One team missed the ferry due to nature calls.

Sarah Yip was the 1st individual to finish the race but Malika, James & Ray were the 1st team to win the event, outpacing the Marrs (Wayne & Luan).

A wonderful cheersquad welcomed each team as they arrived at the finish line.
