MICF Social @ Galston (19th April 2008)

MICF had our second social for the year, last weekend. It was held at Nancy's beautiful property in Galston. It was a true "bush" experience for our International Students.

The day began with a walk to beautiful Fagan Park. After which we shared lunch, played organised games, participated in the making of damper bread over fire, shared afternoon tea, played board games and sang karaoke.

It was a wonderful day of fun and fellowship and we are so grateful for the opportunity to share in the lives of these students and to demonstrate the love of Jesus, in our friendship with them.

Please continue to pray for the ministry of MICF, which is held weekly at Macquarie University on Friday nights. We are currently running a series of talks and discussion groups on "Christianity Explored". Please feel free to drop in and join us, or ask any of us about getting involved.

Thank you Father, for a wonderful day of fun and fellowship. We pray that the Spirit will continue to soften and touch these precious hearts and lives. That they may understand and respond to your offer of salvation for them. May we continue to be used by you, as instruments and mouthpieces of your gospel and may our lives demonstate the love of Jesus to them.

It's great to see how God has been working amongst the students at Mcquarie. I pray that God will be with all of you'll as you continue his work. There are so many new faces. Great work!
